The Nation's #1 Lacrosse Network

We don't run the lessons. We find the pros who do.

STXZ is a marketplace — a nationwide network that matches families with independent lacrosse pros. Each pro runs their own training business: their own methods, their own drills, their own coaching style. Our job is making the right introduction.

Independent Pros Founded 2022 Nationwide
How The Network Works

A marketplace, not a training company.

Think of STXZ the way you'd think of a great matchmaker, not a franchise. The pros on our roster aren't our employees — they're independent professionals who set their own training approach. Here's exactly who does what, so there's never a surprise:

What STXZ Does

The platform's job

  • Matches you with the independent pro we believe best fits your player's goals, location, and schedule.
  • Screens every pro through a third-party background check before they can join the roster.
  • Handles all payments securely through the STXZ platform — you never pay a trainer directly.
  • Supports you before, during, and between lesson packages.
What The Pros Do

The trainer's job

  • Designs every session — the drills, the progression, the coaching style are entirely their own.
  • Makes the on-field decisions, including how each session is run and adapted to your player.
  • Reports their own credentials — experience, playing history, and certifications come straight from the pro.
  • Runs their own business as an independent contractor, not an STXZ employee.

Training Formats

A path for every player.

Whether your athlete is picking up a stick for the first time or grinding toward collegiate recruitment, the network has independent pros who train across every format and level.

The Roster

Meet some of the independent pros.

The network spans a range of backgrounds — from veteran high school and club coaches to current and former high-level players who train the skills they use on the field. Some pros bring deep coaching résumés; others bring real, recent playing experience rather than formal coaching history. Your match's profile shows you exactly which, so you always know who you're working with.

Profiles, experience, and credentials shown are self-reported by each independent pro during their application to the network. Backgrounds range from formal coaching experience to on-field playing experience — each pro's profile reflects their own.

Where You Train

Sessions come to you.

You and your pro agree on a time and place that works. Most families pick one of two setups:

Option A

Your backyard

Maximum convenience — the pro comes directly to you. Ideal for stick skills, footwork, and fundamentals without the commute.

Best for: Convenience & Basics
Option B

A local field or park

Need room to run? Meet at a nearby park or public field — perfect for shooting on goal, long passing, and speed work.

Best for: Shooting & Speed
Why 1-on-1 Matters

Team practice builds the team. Private training builds the player.

Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Team reps are essential — but individual attention is where mechanics get fixed, confidence gets built, and playing time gets earned.

01

Accelerated growth

1-on-1 focus lets a pro target the mechanics that get overlooked in a 25-player practice — the fastest path to more playing time.

02

Confidence & resilience

An encouraging, individual setting where players can fail, adjust, and improve without an audience — the foundation of competitive toughness.

03

Customized to your athlete

Every session is shaped by the pro around your player's position, level, and goals — not a one-size-fits-all group curriculum.

The Roster Standard

What it takes to join the network.

Independent pros don't just sign up and start training. Before any pro is eligible to be matched with a family, they complete every step below:

01

Third-party background screening

Every pro completes a background check through an independent screening provider before joining the roster.

02

Signed independent contractor agreement

Each pro formally agrees to the network's contractor terms, confirming they operate their own training practice.

03

Safety & conduct training

Pros complete the STXZ safety and conduct module covering professional standards for working with youth athletes.

04

Application & profile review

Each pro submits their experience, playing history, and credentials. These details are self-reported by the pro — we present them to you exactly as provided.

• Your Role In The Match

You make the final call.

When we introduce you to a pro, we're recommending the strongest fit based on what you told us at booking — goals, location, schedule, and preferences. From there, the decision is yours: review their profile, ask questions about their experience and approach, and confirm they're the right fit for your player before lessons begin.

Treat the introduction as a strong starting point, not a final endorsement. Backgrounds across the roster vary — some pros come from coaching, others from high-level playing careers — and your match's profile lays out theirs. Good questions to ask before your first session: their playing and coaching history, how they structure sessions for your player's age, and what a typical lesson looks like. The pros are independent professionals — getting to know yours is part of getting the most out of training.

Compare Options

Private lessons vs. camps.

Both have a place. Camps teach you how to play the game — private training teaches you how to own your position.

Camps & clinics

For players who want broad exposure, game-like scenarios, and team-building reps.

  • Team environment — learn to play within a system.
  • Game scenarios — scrimmages and situational play.
  • Social interaction — build chemistry with other players.
  • Broad curriculum — general concepts for groups.

Support & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about training, pricing, or how our matching process works? We have answers. If you can't find what you need, our team is just a click away.

At STXZ, we carefully match you with a trainer based on the details you provide during registration, ensuring the best fit for your skill level, location, and training goals.

If the assigned trainer isn’t the right fit, you have the option to request a different trainer in your area. Before scheduling or making any payments, your trainer will send you their profile for review, allowing you to make an informed decision before starting your lessons.

Yes, if more than one player is participating in the lessons, there is a small additional fee per lesson to accommodate the extra instruction. The pricing is as follows:

  • 2 Players: +$5 per lesson
  • 3 Players: +$10 per lesson

This ensures that each player receives quality coaching while keeping the sessions engaging and effective.

No, there is no “registration fee” but we do charge a one-time $20 service fee per player. This fee is not charged upfront; instead, it will be included in your invoice after you have been matched with a trainer and a start date has been confirmed for your lessons. The service fee helps cover administrative costs and ensures a smooth scheduling process.

Yes! We do offer payment plans. If you’re interested in setting up a plan, please reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to discuss available options that work best for you.

STXZ does not have physical locations. Instead, our trainers travel to your home or a nearby field of your choice, providing convenient and flexible lacrosse lessons at a location that works best for you.

Yes, we do offer indoor lacrosse lessons! However, please note that the customer is responsible for covering any fees associated with using indoor facilities.

In some cases, we may have a trainer in your area who already has access to an indoor facility. If that’s the case, they will inform you of the location and any associated costs. If we do not have a trainer with an indoor facility available, you and your trainer can work together to find an indoor space that meets your needs during the colder months.

We provide lacrosse training in most major cities across the U.S. If you’re unsure whether we have a trainer in your area, feel free to call or email us, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you!

No, we do not accept cash for lesson payments. We accept all major credit and debit cards for secure and convenient transactions. However, if you’d like to show appreciation, you may tip your trainer in cash at the end of your lesson package as a courtesy.

Lesson packages must be paid in full at least 5 days before your first scheduled lesson. Once you are matched with a trainer and a start date is confirmed, we will send an invoice to your email address for payment.

If you’d like to purchase more lessons, please fill out the upgrade form here: Upgrade Lesson Package. Once submitted, our billing team will send you an invoice based on the lesson option and amount of your choosing. After payment is completed, you can continue training with your instructor.

Yes! We are always looking for new lacrosse trainers to join our team and work with clients across the U.S. If you’re interested, please apply here: Trainer Application Form. We look forward to reviewing your application!

To get the most out of your first lacrosse lesson with STXZ, follow these preparation tips:

  • Bring the essential equipment – A lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, and appropriate athletic wear.
  • Arrive early – Familiarize yourself with the training environment, whether it’s your backyard, a local field, or another agreed-upon location.
  • Stay hydrated – Drink water before your session to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set personal goals – Have a clear idea of what you want to achieve in your training to maximize your progress.

Your STXZ trainer will guide you throughout the session, but coming physically and mentally prepared will help you get the most value out of your lesson.

STXZ trainers come equipped with essential training tools designed to enhance lacrosse instruction. These typically include cones, ladders, training balls, and, in some cases, specialized equipment to focus on specific skill development.

However, players are responsible for bringing their own personal gear, including:

  • Lacrosse stick
  • Helmet
  • Gloves
  • Other necessary protective equipment

Our trainers aim to complement, not replace, the player’s gear by providing additional tools that improve the overall learning and training experience.

STXZ does not require specific certifications for our trainers; however, most of our trainers hold mid-to-high-level coaching licenses and certifications relevant to the sport of lacrosse. These credentials ensure that many of our trainers are well-versed in modern coaching techniques, safety protocols, and the latest developments in the game.

In addition, we require all trainers to have a minimum of 2+ years of coaching experience across various age groups. Our rigorous screening process and background checks ensure that every trainer meets our high standards for quality instruction, professionalism, and player safety.

At STXZ, we strive to provide a seamless and satisfying training experience for every client. If you feel that your trainer isn’t the right fit, please let us know—we offer the flexibility to switch trainers at any time.

Once we receive your feedback, we will promptly work to match you with another qualified trainer who better aligns with your needs and preferences. Our primary goal is to ensure you have a positive and productive learning experience tailored to your individual requirements.

The STXZ Lacrosse training program is designed to enhance a player’s technical skills and on-field awareness. We focus on developing fundamental skills such as cradling, passing, catching, shooting, and ground ball scooping to help players elevate their game.

One of our unique features is our mobile training service—our trainers come to you, whether it’s your backyard or a nearby field.

Our private lacrosse trainers, each with a minimum of 2+ years of coaching experience, create personalized lesson plans tailored to each player’s goals.

We offer both:

✅ One-on-one training
✅ Semi-private group training (up to 3 players)

This personalized coaching approach ensures individualized attention and faster skill development, making it a more effective alternative to large group sessions or clinics.

We recommend starting with a single lesson to see if the trainer is the right fit for you. After your first session, you can choose from one of our lesson packages (5, 10, or 15 lessons)—the more lessons you purchase, the more you save per session.

  • Each 1-hour session can accommodate up to 3 students max.
  • You can choose to have the group lesson split into individual 1-on-1 increments or have all students train together.

Your trainer can help discuss and customize the best option for your needs once you’re matched!

Yes, you can take as many lessons per week as you’d like! Our training packages are flexible, allowing you to schedule multiple lessons per week based on your availability and training goals. Simply discuss your preferred schedule with your trainer and confirm the lesson times that work best for both of you.

We currently do not offer a pay-per-lesson option. However, we do provide a single lesson option, allowing you to try our service before committing to a package. If you enjoy your lesson, you can purchase a lesson package to save more in the long run!

If you’re unable to purchase a package in full, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to discuss possible payment options.
