Grades K to 2
First touches and clinic play
Younger players in Pitman typically start through intramural or clinic programs before moving into organized team play. These entry-level sessions focus on basic stick skills and movement, giving kids a low-pressure introduction to the game before they are old enough to join a full travel or rec roster.
-
Grades 3 to 8
Rec and travel league seasons
Boys in grades 3 through 8 compete through SEPYLA-affiliated town programs and girls through PAGLA, both running a mid-March to late May schedule built around one weekend game and two weeknight practices. This is the primary developmental ladder for Pitman players before they reach high school.
-
High school
NJSIAA spring season
High school players in Pitman compete under the NJSIAA on the same spring calendar used across the Philadelphia region. Practices open in early March, league games run through mid-May, and postseason extends into late May and June, giving players a full competitive window each spring.

Summer and fall
Club, travel, and indoor
After the school season, Pitman players enter the club and travel circuit through organizations like Mesa, Team TEN, Dynasty Elite, and Forge Lacrosse Club, with tryouts in June and July and weekend tournaments across the region. Talk to the STXZ teamCan I pick the coach I want?
STXZ matches you with an independent coach based on your location, the player's level, position, and goals. You review that coach's profile by email first and can request a different match before anything is billed.
Is this a fit for a brand-new player in Pitman?
Yes. Tell STXZ where your player is starting so the match accounts for their level. Beginners work on catching, cradling, and ground balls; experienced players focus on their position.
When do I actually pay?
Once you approve a match and agree on a start date, your invoice arrives by email. It is due in full at least five days before the first lesson. Registration itself requires no payment.
What does it cost in Pitman?
Rates are per lesson and set for your zip code. Packages of 6 and 12 lessons lower the per-lesson rate, and the booking app accepts any count from 1 to 18. There is a one-time $20 service fee per player.
What if the first session is not a fit?
Contact STXZ within seven days of that lesson and choose a rematch with another coach at no additional charge or a refund of the lesson fees paid. The service fee is not refundable.
Where can we train, and what should we bring?
A backyard, park, or school field within the coach's travel radius, arranged directly with your coach. Bring your stick, protective equipment, and water. Indoor or paid facility charges are yours to cover.
