Grades K to 2

SEPYLA and PAGLA travel seasons
Boys in grades 3 through 8 compete in SEPYLA, which draws close to 40 community organizations along school district lines. Girls of the same ages play through PAGLA across more than 50 clubs. Both associations run a mid-March to late May schedule with weekend games and weeknight practices.
-
High school
Central League and PIAA playoffs
Norwood high schoolers enter the PIAA spring season with practices opening in early March and league games running through mid-May. District 1 playoffs fill late May, and the PIAA state tournament runs into early June. Springfield-Delco and Ridley are among the Delaware County programs that reach the postseason regularly.

Club, travel, and fall ball
After the high school season closes, club and travel play with organizations like Delco Lacrosse runs June through July with weekend tournaments across the region. Fall ball and winter box or indoor clinics from December through February keep players sharp heading into the next spring tryout cycle.

Talk to the STXZ teamCan I pick the coach I want?
STXZ matches you with an independent coach based on your location, the player's level, position, and goals. You review that coach's profile by email first and can request a different match before anything is billed.
Is this a fit for a brand-new player in Norwood?
Yes. Tell STXZ where your player is starting so the match accounts for their level. Beginners work on catching, cradling, and ground balls; experienced players focus on their position.
When do I actually pay?
Once you approve a match and agree on a start date, your invoice arrives by email. It is due in full at least five days before the first lesson. Registration itself requires no payment.
What does it cost in Norwood?
Rates are per lesson and set for your zip code. Packages of 6 and 12 lessons lower the per-lesson rate, and the booking app accepts any count from 1 to 18. There is a one-time $20 service fee per player.
What if the first session is not a fit?
Contact STXZ within seven days of that lesson and choose a rematch with another coach at no additional charge or a refund of the lesson fees paid. The service fee is not refundable.
Where can we train, and what should we bring?
A backyard, park, or school field within the coach's travel radius, arranged directly with your coach. Bring your stick, protective equipment, and water. Indoor or paid facility charges are yours to cover.
