Where East Norriton players train, and when

East Norriton players move through SEPYLA and PAGLA youth programs into a PIAA spring season governed by the Suburban One League, with club and fall ball extending the game year-round.

How players come up here

The programs a East Norriton player moves through, youngest first.

  1. Grades K to 2

    First steps in the game

Many East Norriton families start young players in kindergarten through second grade intramural or clinic programs before competitive travel begins. Private coaching at this stage focuses on basic catching, throwing, and cradling so kids arrive at their first organized practice with enough comfort to enjoy it.

  2. Grades 3 to 8

    SEPYLA and PAGLA travel seasons

Boys in East Norriton compete through SEPYLA's community organization structure and girls through PAGLA, both running a mid-March to late May schedule with weekend games and weeknight practices. Private coaching before the late February evaluation window helps players make the most of that tryout moment.

  3. High school

PIAA spring season and District 1

East Norriton high school players compete under PIAA rules inside the Suburban One League. Practices open in early March, league games run through mid-May, and District 1 playoffs follow before the state tournament closes out at Penn State in early June. Pre-tryout work in January and February is when most families book.

  4. Club and travel

    Summer and fall club play

After the school season ends, East Norriton players pursue club and travel programs, with tryouts running in June and July and weekend tournaments filling the summer. Clubs operating around the hub include Mesa, Team TEN, Forge Lacrosse Club, Duke's Lacrosse Club, and Dynasty Elite. Fall ball keeps players active through the autumn months.

Where private coaching fits

How families in and around East Norriton use an independent coach.

When families book

A coach travels directly to your family in East Norriton, whether that means a local park or your backyard. Families here most often book in January and February ahead of PIAA tryouts, and again in July and August before fall ball and club tournaments begin.

Fields families use

Your backyard, a local park, or your club's field: you and your coach settle it directly, anywhere inside their travel radius.

Talk to the STXZ team
Can I pick the coach I want?

STXZ matches you with an independent coach based on your location, the player's level, position, and goals. You review that coach's profile by email first and can request a different match before anything is billed.

Is this a fit for a brand-new player in East Norriton?

Yes. Tell STXZ where your player is starting so the match accounts for their level. Beginners work on catching, cradling, and ground balls; experienced players focus on their position.

When do I actually pay?

Once you approve a match and agree on a start date, your invoice arrives by email. It is due in full at least five days before the first lesson. Registration itself requires no payment.

What does it cost in East Norriton?

Rates are per lesson and set for your zip code. Packages of 6 and 12 lessons lower the per-lesson rate, and the booking app accepts any count from 1 to 18. There is a one-time $20 service fee per player.

What if the first session is not a fit?

Contact STXZ within seven days of that lesson and choose a rematch with another coach at no additional charge or a refund of the lesson fees paid. The service fee is not refundable.

Where can we train, and what should we bring?

A backyard, park, or school field within the coach's travel radius, arranged directly with your coach. Bring your stick, protective equipment, and water. Indoor or paid facility charges are yours to cover.

Who are the coaches in East Norriton?

Independent contractors on the STXZ roster, not STXZ employees. Each passes a criminal background check and completes STXZ safety and conduct training before taking a first lesson. Coaching and playing history is provided by the coach, and clients are responsible for vetting their matched coach before booking.
