Grades K to 8
Rec and youth entry play
Girls in grades three through eight compete through PAGLA on a mid-March to late May schedule. Boys follow a parallel rec path through the same spring window. Some towns offer intramural or clinic programs for kindergarten through second grade, giving Collingswood-area players an early on-field introduction before competitive league play begins.
-
Middle school
PAGLA and rec league years
PAGLA carries girls through eighth grade with one weekend game and two weeknight practices each week from mid-March through late May. Boys in the same grades follow a comparable schedule. These middle school seasons are where players begin to specialize in position and develop the skills that travel coaches and high school programs look for.
-
High school
NJSIAA spring season
High school lacrosse in New Jersey runs under the NJSIAA on the same spring calendar as Pennsylvania, with practices opening in early March and games running through May. Collingswood players enter a Camden County competitive landscape where the spring season determines conference standing and state tournament seeding.
-
Summer and fall
Club and travel tournament play
Club tryouts run in June and July, and regional clubs like Mesa, Team TEN, Dynasty Elite and Forge Lacrosse Club draw South Jersey players into weekend tournaments through the summer. Fall ball and winter box and indoor clinics from December through February keep players sharp through the off-season.

Talk to the STXZ teamCan I pick the coach I want?
STXZ matches you with an independent coach based on your location, the player's level, position, and goals. You review that coach's profile by email first and can request a different match before anything is billed.
Is this a fit for a brand-new player in Collingswood?
Yes. Tell STXZ where your player is starting so the match accounts for their level. Beginners work on catching, cradling, and ground balls; experienced players focus on their position.
When do I actually pay?
Once you approve a match and agree on a start date, your invoice arrives by email. It is due in full at least five days before the first lesson. Registration itself requires no payment.
What does it cost in Collingswood?
Rates are per lesson and set for your zip code. Packages of 6 and 12 lessons lower the per-lesson rate, and the booking app accepts any count from 1 to 18. There is a one-time $20 service fee per player.
What if the first session is not a fit?
Contact STXZ within seven days of that lesson and choose a rematch with another coach at no additional charge or a refund of the lesson fees paid. The service fee is not refundable.
Where can we train, and what should we bring?
A backyard, park, or school field within the coach's travel radius, arranged directly with your coach. Bring your stick, protective equipment, and water. Indoor or paid facility charges are yours to cover.
